These funds will be provided to support librarians from regions where active hostilities are taking place: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Volyn, Kyiv region and city of Kyiv.

The funds will be used for temporary rent, purchase of medicines, clothes, food.

Due to limited funds, the organizers will not be able to provide assistance to all who need it, so we are looking for caring colleagues who can make a significant contribution.

The first applications have already started:

Librarian from Malyn, Zhytomyr region:

"My family is forced to go to relatives, without the necessities, without clothes and medicine. My city is bombed every day, it is impossible to live there. I have type 2 diabetes; I constantly need medication. My child needs clothes and shoes. My husband lost his job. That's why I hope for your help."

Librarian from Irpin, Kyiv region:

"I was left homeless with two children. I need money for children`s clothes and food."

Let's help Ukrainian librarians together!
